Virtual Reality

Virtual Reality is no longer just science fiction. From education to healthcare, the application of VR is changing. Gaming together with social behavior and new technologies is being connected on a technological and scientific level. This fusion is going to transform the manner in which we behave and experience certain situations, but this also, allows game designers to develop new games and experiences.

What is Virtual Reality?

Virtual reality is a principle of immersion of the human senses, the idea is to replace all the natural seances with artificial stimulation and virtual projections so that the person gets a feeling of existing in a world completely different than ours.

Although most of us envision the classic image of the plastic space type helmet over the eyes the technology for the complete emersion of players into a fiction gaming world has significantly evolved. These changes can be noted in the sound and touch systems that are being developed. All of this with the sole goal of making a machine that can take you completely away from this world into a new one with its specific sounds, smells, and bodily sensations.

The Impossible Becomes Possible

Virtual RealityThe virtual reality technologies help to create a world of creativity, that can break the problems encountered in conventional learning methods. Children, for instance, learn best by playing and working with their hands. The argument is that they shouldn’t just read about history they should be able to live history and to be historians. Imagine a time travel game that takes you back to ancient Egypt, where you can experience their lifestyle.

Social Behavior

Generally, gamers are perceived as being anti-social or depressed, but this is far from the truth. As we gamers know we are actually wary communicative if we are properly stimulated. Imagine the communication between players that can be achieved in virtual reality. Imagine resolving a fight with a loved one in a VR surrounding where you cannot hurt anybody.
